Steps to Add a Signature in a Gmail account on Computer
1.) On your computer, open Gmail and sign in to your account.
2.) Once you are logged in to your Gmail account, click on the Gear icon to select the Settings option. You will be directed to your Gmail account’s Settings page.
3.) Under Settings, go to the Signature section and simply add the desired signature you wish to use in the text field.
4.) In the Signature text field, you can customize your signature using the available options. You can adjust the text size using Size, Bold, Italic, Underline, Link, Image and other options.
5.) To add an image to your signature, click on the Insert Image option and choose the file you wish to include in your signature.
6.) Once you are done making the desired changes and adjustments to your signature, click on the Save Changes button.
Add a Signature If You Are Using the “Send mail as” feature
If you are using the “Send mail as” feature to send email from different addresses in your Gmail account, you can add a separate signature for each email address. In order to select an email address, use the drop-down menu located above the signature text box your Gmail account’s Settings page. However, if you are unable to locate the drop-down menu, go to the Accounts and Import Settings page and make sure that your addresses are listed in the “Send mail as” section.
Steps to Add or Change a Signature on Android
When you create a signature in Gmail app, it will appear for all the emails you send using the app. However, if you have created a signature on your computer, it will be used for all the emails you send using the Gmail on the web.
1.) On your Android device, launch the Gmail app.
2.) Once the Gmail app gets opened, tap on the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) located on the top-left corner of the screen.
3.) Scroll down and tap on the Settings option.
4.) Next, select the Google account where you wish to add a signature.
5.) Then, tap on the Signature option and enter the text you wish to add to your signature. After entering the text, tap on the OK button to confirm the addition of your signature.
Steps to Add or Change a Signature in iPhone and iPad
If you are using multiple accounts in your Gmail app, you will need to change this setting for each account.
NOTE: These steps are for Gmail app, so make sure you have downloaded the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad.
1.) On your iPhone or iPad, launch the Gmail app.
2.) Next, tap on the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) located on the top-left corner of the screen.
3.) Scroll down and tap on the Settings option.
4.) Next, select the Google account where you wish to add a signature.
5.) Then, go to Signature settings option and turn on the Signature setting. After that, simply add or edit your signature. Once you are done adding the signature, tap on the Back icon to save the changes made.
